Londres 50 Building
Description
Londres 50 Building is located in the iconic París-Londres neighborhood, celebrated for its heritage architecture, cobblestone streets, and European charm. This adaptive reuse project seeks to transform a building protected by the National Monuments Council (CMN) and SEREMI into a contemporary development that honors and enhances its historical essence.
The design introduces 10 residential units for short-term rental and 1 commercial space, optimizing interiors with integrated kitchens and compact layouts that meet hotel standards. Automation systems, smart home technology, and remote concierge services are incorporated, ensuring a modern and efficient user experience.
The intervention relied on a detailed survey of the pre-existing structure using point cloud technology, achieving design precision and a harmonious balance between heritage preservation and contemporary functionality. With a limited budget, the project delivers the desired profitability by merging heritage value with advanced technological solutions.
This initiative revitalizes eroded urban metabolism, reclaims spaces, and fosters a more sustainable city model. Londres 50 Building exemplifies how heritage can be actively integrated into modern urban densification and innovative uses.
