Londres 46 Building

Description

Londres 46 Building is located in the iconic París-Londres neighborhood, renowned for its heritage architecture, cobblestone streets, and European charm. This adaptive reuse project transforms an existing building into a contemporary development that respects and enhances its historical essence.

With 6 floors, 35 residential units, and 3 commercial spaces, the project's greatest challenge was creating a central void by removing the existing composite slabs while preserving the structural steel beams. This void enabled the construction of a new contemporary interior façade that channels natural light into the most disadvantaged units, revitalizing the space and improving its habitability.

The design optimizes interior spaces for short-term rentals, featuring integrated kitchens and compact layouts that meet hotel standards. Automation systems, smart home technology, and remote concierge services provide a modern and efficient user experience.

The Londres 46 Building contributes to revitalizing eroded urban metabolism, promoting a more sustainable city model. It exemplifies how adaptive reuse can integrate heritage into contemporary urban dynamics, combining modern design, functionality, and respect for historical surroundings.
